Stargate SG-1 fans can go ahead and lose your minds now out of excitement as the series will be coming to Android in the near future in the form of an episodic interactive adventure game called Stargate SG-1: Unleashed. This will be developed by Arkalis who managed to sign a deal with MGM to get rights to the Stargate SG-1 franchise license.
Arkalis is a company that was recently formed by some industry veterans who works at Gameloft and Digital Legends with the company’s goal being to create mobile games with high quality graphics but casual gameplay.
As for details about this game, there isn’t a whole lot that have been released just yet aside from the fact this game will have multiple episodes. However, we will be finding out more fairly quickly as Arkalis is planning to release a gameplay video this month to show off Stargate SG-1: Unleashed with the game’s release arriving sometime in March 2013.
