Cryamore! Kickstarter campaign reaches stretch goal for Android and OUYA versions

Cryamore! is a game that has been looking for funding on Kickstarter for the past couple of weeks, having successfully reached their goal of $65,000 already. Currently their Kickstarter campaign is sitting at $153,601 in funding, one of the stretch goals is to bring this rather cool game to Android and OUYA. The goal was set to $150,000 in order for this stretch goal to be met and as you can see, they have reached it.

That means we can expect an Android and OUYA version of Cryamore! to head our way soon once the game is finished. For those of you unfamiliar with this game, Cryamore! is described by the developers as taking influence for its gameplay from The Legend of Zelda, The Secret of Mana and Mega Man which will all end up being wrapped in a Steampunk-ish theme.

This game is an action-adventure game with RPG elements layered over it for good measure. Players will be following Esmyrelda Maximus who leaves her village in order to find new deposits of the energy-rich mineral Cryamore and, as you may be guessing, the entire ordeal ends up taking a lot longer and takes a variety of different turns down fate’s path for Esmyrelda.

There will be monsters to fight, puzzles and mysteries to solve, and plenty of people to meet and help along the way, regardless as to whether or not she really wants to. It’s all part of finding those mineral deposits. The Cryamore mineral also happens to come in a variety of elemental alignments as well. That means you will have to find some of each type as well as be able to use them properly on your journey.

Cryamore! is being developed using the Unity3D engine so you can expect to see some pretty nice anime-esque visuals to go along with all the action. Even though the Android and OUYA stretch goal has been reached, there is still 11 days left on their Kickstarter campaign should you want to toss a couple of bucks at them to help out. You can watch their Kickstarter pitch video below which is also rather cool since it’s a completely animated cartoon.
