Dead Trigger 2 will be free-to-play, Madfinger has 2 other games in the works

Madfinger Games are some busy little bee these days and back during CES 2013 we had some hands-on time with an early build of Dead Trigger 2 on Project Shield. The game back then looked gorgeous so now it probably looks even better. At Mobile World Congress 2013, Madfinger Games let out some additional details about their upcoming sequel to Dead Trigger.

Dead Trigger 2 will be released as a free-to-play game but the game is currently being developed without IAPs in mind. That is because Madfinger Games wants to develop the game first, as a pure gaming experience not associated with any sort of IAPs, and then once the game is done being developed they will look at additional optional in-game purchases to add in. That way the game to sure to be playable all the way through for anyone who does not want to spend any money on IAPs.

This game will also be twice as big as the original one, with a  larger city, more modes, more zombies, and more weapons. So when can we expect to find Dead Trigger 2 making it’s way to Tegra 3 and Tegra 4 devices? Well right now June 2013 is being tossed around as a release time but that could end up changing if more work needs to be done.

That isn’t all Madfinger Games is working on though. OUYA will be getting some Madfinger loving as well, with Dead Triggers 1 and 2, plus Shadowgun: Deadzone all heading to the Android-powered console soon. To top everything off, Madfinger Games also has to other unannounced games in the works which are also planned for release in 2013. Be prepared to get a continuous amount of news from this company in the near future.
