DreamWorks Animation has a movie coming out on March 22nd called The Croods, a movie about cavemen and food. Well the company is also teaming up with Rovio to bring an official The Croods game to Android and iOS, which will be arriving around the time the movie hits theaters this month.
In this movie spin-off game, players will take on the task of controller a small group of cavemen and cavewomen known as the Croods. The goal is to search the lands for food, gathering any that you come across, while seeing a variety of new and strange creatures they have never seen before. Unfortunately that doesn’t tell us a whole lot about the game but then again that is pretty much par for the course when it comes to Rovio releases.
If we were going to take a stab in the dark about how this game will play out, we would have to say it will be a Lemmings-esque type of game with puzzle mechanics. Puzzles are what Rovio is good at after all. Of course we could be completely off base. However, we will find out for sure in the days leading up to The Croods release which will be March 14th, 2013 on Android and iOS.
