Atomicom announces a sequel to their futuristic racing game Switch

Atomicom has been around on Android for awhile now having released a fair amount of rather successful games onto Google Play already. One of those games happens to be a rather fun racing game called Switch where players raced down a futuristic track as far and as fast as they can while switching lanes in order to avoid obstacles and beat their opponents.

The company steadily released games for the past couple of years on Android but recently went quite with very little information coming from Atomicom about what their next game would be. Well, today they have announced exactly what that game is and it is a sequel to Switch called Switch Galaxy.

Switch Galaxy Features:

– High-speed, fluid gameplay
– Mission based story mode
– High quality graphics and audio
– Infinitely challenging survival mode
– Simple controls for reflex-action
– Upgradeable Ships and skins

So what do we know about this upcoming sequel? Well what we do know is that Switch Galaxy will stay true to the original game at its core but expand in quite a few areas including improved graphics, ship upgrades, power-ups, pick-up and a level based story mode along with the original survival mode.

Atomicom has been working with the Playstation Mobile SDK while creating Switch Galaxy and so it will be released as a temporary exclusive to Playstation Certified devices for a short period of time. Once that time is up, Switch Galaxy will be made available for all Android devices. Switch Galaxy is slated for release on March 6th, 2013 on the Playstation Mobile store and will cost you $4.99 to pick up a copy to play. As for when Switch Galaxy will drop the temporary exclusive and be launched on Google Play, we are not exactly sure when that will happen.
