For those of you living in the UK there is some good news regarding Google Play gift cards and the fact that they could finally be arriving. Appearing in the help files regarding ‘Gift cards & Google Play balance’ there are now references and specific information available about Google Play gift cards for UK residents.
In fact it is pretty specific with the information that has been added to those help files by stating that Google Play gift cards are currently available for people who live in the United States and the United Kingdom. It pretty much doesn’t get any more specific than that. It also goes further into it by listing the available denominations that will be available, those being £10, £25, and £50. The page also mentioned that you can have a maximum limit of £2000 at any given time.
Unfortunately the new information doesn’t state when the cards will arrive for stores to sell. However, considering it states that they are already available in the help files, it would be safe to guess that they should be landing on store shelves relatively soon.
