Glu Mobile has begun teasing their upcoming third-person shooter called Frontline Commando: D-Day which, as the name suggests, is based around WWII. Glu is already building up the hype machine for this game with a new trailer for it as well as a few additional details regarding the game and what will come with it.
Glu has the game coming with ‘stunning console quality visuals, precise controls, advanced physics, destructible environments’ and full voice-overs’ which is a pretty tall order to handle. However, checking out the trailer below which does show a little of the gameplay, it does look pretty good so far.
Frontline Commando: D-Day has a pretty big single-player campaign, with 5 separate campaigns that include 145 separate missions based on the actual beach landings: Juno, Sword, Utah, Gold and Omaha. Everything from destroying tanks to rushing defenses are all part of these missions.
Since this is coming from Glu Mobile, when Frontline Commando: D-Day launches it will be available as a free download with optional in-game purchases available. Speaking on when this game launches, Glu has told us that it should be landing on Google Play within the next few weeks.
