PlayJam’s GameStick will be debuting at GDC 2013

For those of you who are more about having a compact, more portable, Android console instead of OUYA are probably more interested in PlayJam’s GameStick which did pretty damn good on Kickstarter and has since progressed nicely including a new design for their controller. We’ve seen plenty of pictures and video of GameStick and now anyone attending GDC 2013 next week will be able to check GameStick out in person as well.

This is because PlayJam will be at GDC 2013 to unveil the GameStick to those in attendance. Of course there will be demos done as well so we can see it in action. PlayJam also mentions that there are currently 30 titles lined up already for the initial launch of GameStick.

The demonstration will provide attendees with a first look at the GameStick User Interface, [the] controller and some 30 titles due to form part of the initial line-up. – PlayJam

For you developers out there interested in bringing your games to PlayJam’s GameStick and ordered a developer kit (through their Kickstarter campaign), those kits will be shipping out shortly after GDC 2013 ends. Pre-orders are also available for anyone interested in snagging a GameStick the moment it launches.
