Sonic fans have yet another game filled with blue hedgehog goodness to look forward to as Sega has announced during GDC that thy will be bringing the original Sonic the Hedgehog game to Android sometime next month. This is the original game but has been reworked with controls for touch screens devices.
The original Sonic the Hedgehog was one of the better games in the franchise for the blue hedgehog and now that it is coming to Android, it’ll be great to dig into the game once again only this time on our Android devices and without the need for an emulator to run it.
Right now we just know that Sonic the Hedgehog will arrive on Android sometime in April and it will cost a mere $2.99 when it launches. Not bad for a trip down memory lane. Sega is expected to release a gameplay video soon to show us what the game will look like for Android.
