Unreal Engine built EPOCH arrives on Android with robot combat goodness

Uppercut Games has brought their robot-filled third-person shooter EPOCH over to Android. Developed using Unreal Engine 3, EPOCH takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where robots battle it out for survival. Along the way player might even be able to piece together the events that took place which ended up having the old world end and leave nothing but ruins in its place.

While the storyline seems rather dramatic and cool, the visuals are also pretty stellar in EPOCH, mostly thanks to Uppercut Games using Unreal Engine 3 for the game’s development. Players will be controlling their robot and battling it out with other robots through the us of swipe gestures for dodging incoming fire as well as for taking cover. Your robot can return fire or if you get really stuck, players can access different special abilities your robot comes with.

Along the wave you will be able to upgrade your robot in order to make him stronger and able to survive bigger waves of robot enemies bent of killing you. There are plenty of option for upgrading your robot with from a variety of weapons and armor to different boosts and counter-measures. Content-wise, there is plenty of content filled with robot combat for players to work their way through.
