Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.7.0 update delayed a little longer

A lot of our readers have been leaving comments in our previous articles regarding the massive 0.7.0 update that is coming to Minecraft: Pocket Edition. We won’t dive into a review of everything that will be coming with this update like normal as we’ve gone over it a few times already. However we do have news as to when the update will actually arrive.

Originally the update was slated for release by the end of April. This changed to around the first week to possibly the middle of May. Well that has now changed again as the team working on this update have one last issue to take care of before submitting the update to Android and iOS and launching the beta of Minecraft Pocket Realms.

In a recent update on Twitter, Johan has mentioned that they are hoping to submit the update sometime between now and the end of May. This is, of course, taking into consideration that everything goes smoothly. So while everyone is very eager to get this update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition, you unfortunately have to wait just a little bit longer. There is also a possibility of the update ending up coming in the beginning of June.

On a side note, if you have a Minecraft account already you will need to migrate it to a Mojang account should you want to log into Minecraft Pocket Realms using that account. You can read up on how to do that here.
