Pawn to D4, it’s time for a true chess battle with Chess War Borodino

Chess War -Borodino- is a new Chess game developed by iRafa Studio for MS Group company and was developed using the Unity 3D engine which allows it to feature post processing effects and occlusion culling. A few things Chess War uses to set a part their game is the animations.

The game takes realistic animations and models from the Napoleonic era and adds some historical information on the battles, people, and weapons used in that era. The art is beautiful and has been optimized for full HD for those of you with devices that support HD. Chess War -Borodino- is similar to the classic Battle Chess, in one aspect as you will be shown some battle animations when you take an opponents piece. If your looking for a traditional game you can play with classic chess pieces and skip the animations if preferred. The game offers several A.I. difficulties levels for solo play and you can play two player in a hot seat format.

Chess War -Borodino- is free in the Play Store so there is no risk in trying it out. It is ad supported though and during the game banners will show at the bottom of the screen. You do however, have 2 IAP options that will allow you to remove the ads (.99) or unlock a Fisher Chess option ($1.99). So if you play the game and decide you want to support the developers for only $2.98 you get rid of the ads and add more game play options with the new mode. Also as a note the iRafa Studio website does show cross platform gaming from iOS and Android but I did not see it in the game when played it. I am not sure if its a feature that is coming or if its unlocked with the Fisher Chess option.
