Pong style games are quite plentiful as the format of the game is simple and works easily on any mobile device. However a lot of them lack any sort of flare that they would need to have in order to set themselves apart from the rest of the crowd. Super Pirate Paddle Battle is a Pong game but is wrapped up in a pirate theme and some pretty solid graphics to make it almost a unique game onto itself.
You really don’t think you’re playing Pong when you’re playing this game. You have 24 different levels to play through and the ability to choose from seven different ships. There also happens to be plenty of obstacles that can either benefit you, should your opponent screw up, or hinder you if you end up making a mistake. Your ships even fire cannons at your opponents as well which is a nice touch.
As far as Pong style games go, this is one of the more unique ones out there. If you’re up for it, you can pick up a copy of Super Pirate Paddle Battle off of Google Play for $0.99. You can also check out the game in action in the video below.
