PC-based MMORPG Age of Wushu slated to make its way to mobile devices in the future

Right now there is a newly released PC-based MMORPG going by the name of Age of Wushu which has gotten quite a good following so far. In fact the game will be getting its own feature film based off of it and now the company behind Age of Wushu has also mentioned that the game will be expanding onto other platforms, specifically mobile devices.

Age of Wushu is more of a martial arts themed MMORPG with some pretty interesting features. You’ve probably seen an ad for it, more than likely the video ad with Jet Li endorsing the game. Age of Wushu let’s players experience Chinese lore featuring martial arts combat and exploration throughout China, including real historical landmarks.

The Age of Wushu game looks and plays like a major martial arts motion picture so bringing the property to movie screens is a logical evolution. Our goal has always been for the property to reach the widest audience so evolving to a feature film and expanding the experience to consoles and mobile devices continues our plan. – Shi Hai, founder and chairman, Snail Games.

As for how deep of a gameplay and integration the mobile version will have, whether it is the full game or just companion apps, we will have to wait and see. From the sounds of things, it doesn’t sound like it will be any sort of companion app but the actual game to some degree. Unfortunately we have no release date as to when any of this will arrive.
