Capcom has announced a slew of new games currently under development that will be making their way to smartphones and tablets over the course of the next year. This is great news in some ways, especially with what titles are listed as coming to Android, but it is also bad in other ways as well.
Before getting your hopes up, there is no confirmation that any of these titles will be making it to Western shores, especially Breath of Fire 6. With that said, that doesn’t mean they won’t be either. However looking at Capcom’s track records, along with a few other companies, they really like to release their games in Japan or other countries in that area without bringing their games to a worldwide audience.
So what games are we look at? Well Breath of Fire 6 is one of them. However there are some other interesting titles as well:
– Street Fighter Battle Combination
– Monster Hunter Big Hunting Quest
– Street Fighter x All Capcom
– Frontier of Discovery
– Codename: Rio
So with the addition of Breath of Fire 6, that makes six titles for Android in the course of the next year. Breath of Fire 6 will be released in 2014. When we get word on whether or not these will come to Western shores, we will post an update. There is always Market Enabler and hopefully you speak Japanese.
