One of the more anticipated games heading our way soon from Gameloft is the next installment into the Asphalt series of games called Asphalt 8: Airborne. Gameloft has begun releasing teaser trailers for Asphalt 8 and the newest one shows off some of the gameplay we can expect to find when the game is finally released.
This new Asphalt game is already optimized for plenty of devices but was showcased during Google’s event where they announced those new Nexus 7 tablets. As with past installments in this series, Asphalt 8 has even better visuals than its predecessors, new tracks and cars to race and new achievements to earn. There is also true online multiplayer in Asphalt 8 as well.
Asphalt 8 Features:
– Brand new real physics engine
– 180 events, 47 licensed cars, new game modes
– Online simultaneous multiplayer action and asynchronous challenges, including friends and global leaderboards
– Social features, including Facebook, Google+, and Google Play Games.
Thankfully we don’t have to go through 50 different teaser trailers before learning the release date. Asphalt 8: Airborne is slated for release onto Android on August 8th, 2013. There must be something with the number eight these days.
