Noodlecake Studios has been pretty consistent since they began bringing iOS games over to Android and tomorrow we will be getting two titles instead of the usual one. According to a tweet from the company, they will be releasing Box Cat and the multiplayer title Bloop onto Google Play. Both games are from the same developer whose name is Rusty Moyher.
Update: Aug. 8th, 2013 9:04am PST: Both games are now available on Google Play and both are priced at $0.99 currently. Official download links to Google Play added below.
Box Cat is a really cool looking arcade game where the goal is just to create traffic mayhem. You’ll be smashing into cars and pretty much any other type of vehicle by steering box cat into them. The controls can be either tilt-based or you can use actual touchscreen controls.
Box Cat comes with achievements to earn and the ability to unlock new cats to steer into traffic in Adventure Mode. There is a Survival mode available as well which is pretty self explanatory and a Rush Hour mod where there will be seven lanes of traffic to deal with.
Bloop, on the other hand, is a multiplayer (on the same device) touch game where up to four players race against each other to touch the most tiles. While this may sound easy, there is a catch to the whole thing and that is everyone will be doing that at the same time.
Each player will be issued a color and that is the color that particular player must tap the most of. So all players will be trying to tap their own colors at the same time. As you can imagine, this can lead to a whole lot of hectic gameplay.
Both games are slated to arrive tomorrow onto Google Play. If the pricing follows that of their iOS brethren, Box Cat will be available for $1.99 while Bloop can be purchased for $0.99.
Thanks to Mighty for the heads up!
