Some games just naturally seem to be as whacky and fun as can possibly be and Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark by Italic Pig is one of those games. Even the developer’s name mirrors the wackiness that is their upcoming game. The good news is, this craziness will be arriving onto Android soon for everyone to enjoy.
So what in the hell is Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark? This is one of those games that spans across a few different genres. The developer likes to describe this as OddWorld meets Lemmings and it sort of does have that feel to it. The genres involved with this game are action, adventure, puzzle and platformer with a healthy dose of physics added to it for good measure.
Essentially you’ll be moving through dimensions, time and space and figuring out the mysteries involved with whatever your current situation is in the game. You’ll also have to kick a lot of ass in the process. When talking to the developers about Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark, they mentioned that the controls will be swiped-based ones.
As for when this rather unique looking game will be launching, Italic Pig has the release time frame as somewhere between Christmas this year and February of next year at the latest.
