Final Fantasy All The Bravest arrives onto Google Play, smothers you in IAPs

When we first talked about Square Enix’s All The Bravest game we were not sure that it would be arriving for Android users in the West as it was only available in Japan at that time. This game has finally been released worldwide as of a few days ago and has had the Final Fantasy name tacked onto it as well. Originally it was just called All The Bravest.

If you’re a retro RPG or Final Fantasy fan, don’t get too excited over the fact that Final Fantasy: All The Bravest is now available on Google Play or over the fact that it is a free download. We say this because this game is really beating the IAPs drum, smothering you with a vast amount of things to purchase with real money. Are the IAPs expensive? No not really but there happens to be a lot of them.

Final Fantasy: All The Bravest is basically an endless combat game where your team of characters will go up against endless waves of monsters and the occasional boss fight as well. Your characters will level up as they successfully kill monster after monster and you’ll also earn extra slots to add more characters to your group. You start off with two characters but you will eventually unlock a few more. You can also purchase any amount of premium characters as well in your quest to collect them all, like Pokemon.

In terms of Final Fantasy games, this isn’t even really one of them. What this is though is a mindless time killer with a Final Fantasy theme. Still, if you want to check this game out, it won’t cost you anything to download it and play a few rounds to see if you like it. Let’s hope the upcoming Final Fantast Agito doesn’t follow the same pricing model as this game does.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
