Noodlecake Studios finally lets The Blockheads invade Android, complete with multiplayer servers

Back in September of this year we announced that Noodlecake Studios and Apportable had joined forces and during that announcement it was also mentioned that The Blockheads would be arriving in September as well. Even though it is a little late The Blockheads have finally invaded Android and it does indeed come with multiplayer servers.

For those of you unfamiliar with this game, The Blockheads is a game inspired by other titles like Terarria and Minecraft in a lot of ways. It also has its own unique twists and features to set itself apart from those other games. The game contains things like exploration, mining, crafting and building but also other unique things, especially when it comes to geography,  such as an Equator and even a north and south pole. There also happens to be seasons in this game like Winter and Spring.

For those of you who enjoy multiplayer in these sorts of titles, The Blockheads does come with multiplayer as well for up to 32 different players on a server. The one feature we were not sure about was whether or not people would be able to host their own servers like Minecraft. Well that is actually something you can do and guess what, we will be opening up a couple of servers for our readers to play on.

We are going to talk to the folks over at Majic Jungle to see if we can have one large server instead of a few normal servers so everyone can play together. Expect that announcement to happen either later today or tomorrow along with all the details you’ll need to log into our official The Blockheads server(s).

In the meantime, you can pick up The Blockheads off of Google Play for free and it is completely up-to-date with the iOS version which is sitting at version 1.4 and happens to have new things like Trains added to the game.
