Mad Catz unveils their new Bluetooth gaming keyboard for Android

As we near the end of this year we can expect Mad Catz to finally launch their Mojo Android-powered game console. Along with the console, Mad Catz already has a wide selection of peripherals available to use with it or any bluetooth enabled Android device. We can now add one more to the list and that being a new gaming keyboard called S.T.R.I.K.E.M.

There are a few unique features to this keyboard that some of you Android gamers might be interested. First the keyboard comes equipped with NFC which can come in handy. Secondly the keyboard comes with “micro P.U.L.S.E. scissor keys for crisp actuation with tactile click response and an Optical Finger Navigation Mouse Sensor with dedicated mouse buttons”. Basically this means you get a nice click when tapping a key on the keyboard as you should with any good gaming keyboard.

Another feature, which is more for aesthetics, is that the keyboard will be available in three different color: Red, White and Black. In the end this is a gaming keyboard meant for gaming and from our hands-on with the Mojo console, this could come in quite handy for a variety of gaming genres that you’ll end up playing on it.

As for when you’ll be able to pick one of these up, right now there is just a holiday 2013 launch time frame. We’ll most likely see these hit store shelves at around the same time the Mojo console does.
