The Ratchet & Clank franchise will be getting a new endless runner addition soon with a game called Ratchet & Clank: Before the Nexus and it looks pretty damn good. Even though we already have a ton of these types of games, most of them are pretty cookie cutter from each other. This particular one looks pretty different and the impressive looking visuals certainly help with that.
Ratchet & Clank: Before the Nexus features some pretty slick looking 3D visuals which you’ll be able to enjoy while you hop between grindrails, avoid hazards and collect bolts along the way. However there is more to Ratchet & Clank: Before the Nexus than just an endless runner.
This game will sync up with the upcoming Playstation 3 release of the new Ratchet & Clank: Nexus game. You’ll be able to connect to your PlayStation Network account and transfer Raritanium from the mobile app to upgrade your weapons in the actual Playstation 3 game.
As for when this new endless runner will land on Google Play, there’s no specific release date announced as of yet. As for pricing, this will most likely end up being a free game like most endless runners end up being. However Sony has also announced that the upcoming Knack game for the Playstation 4 will also have a companion app although no word on whether it’ll be like this one or something different.
