Halfbrick’s upcoming game Colossatron Massive World Threat has finally gotten a release date announced and the good news is that the company will be releasing the game onto Android and iOS at the same time. Usually Halfbrick releases their games onto iOS first while the Android version follows afterwards and usually a month or two down the road.

For those of you who missed our previous articles on this game, Colossatron Massive World Threat is about a giant robot snake going on a rampage. This giant robotic worm is what we get to control but the game isn’t just about going on a rampage and destroying everything in sight. Well… actually it is but it’s a lot more strategic than just crushing everything in your path.
Your giant robot worm is made up of different Powercores. These can be anything from power-ups to different weapons and other additions that make you a massive roaming pile of destruction and chaos. You can also combine different Powercores to create new additional effects, for example, combining red and blue creates a purple Powercore. Matching three yellows together creates an even more powerful Supercore. The Powercores drop from space and you need to collect them to keep yourself alive, protected and destructive.
In total there are seven continents to destroy. Each continent will have multiple missions for you to work your way through. It’s a big game full of strategy and action. The only thing we don’t know is how much this game will cost. It will most likely end up being free with optional IAPs in it. Either way we will find out next week.
