Nvidia’s Tegra Note 7 tablet gets its first important software update

Nvidia’s own Tegra Note 7 tablet has received its first important software update since the tablet was released. This is an OTA update so everyone who happens to own a Tegra Note 7 tablet should start receiving this update today as it has already begun rolling out this morning.

So what does this update bring with it? Well the big part of the update is upgrading the entire Android OS to version 4.3 and brings along everything that comes with this new version of Android. Aside from the entire OS being upgraded to Android 4.3, the two major areas of improvement that comes with this update is in regards to the Tegra Note 7 stylus and camera.

When it comes to the stylus, there has been added support for left-handed users and improvements in overall response. A DirectStylus help option under the device setting’s menu has been added as well as a stylus removal and insert notification on the notification bar, and users now have the ability to capture the notification bar with full-screen capture.

As for the camera, it now has always-on high-dynamic range (AOHDR) capability. Also added is video stabilization for shake-free video as well as additional tuning and optimizations to improve camera performance under certain lighting conditions.

Of course there also happens to be the standard bug fixes and security improvements that come with any software update for pretty much anything software related. If you don’t see the OTA update available yet, just wait a bit as you will be getting it.
