Chess 2: The Sequel from Ludeme Games arrives exclusively for the Ouya console

A couple of days ago Ouya received a new exclusive game in the form of Chess 2: The Sequel. Developed by renowned game designer David Sirlin and Ludeme Games, Chess 2: The Sequel brings and updated version of the classic board game to the Android-powered console.

While we don’t need to explain what Chess is or what to do in the game, there are some new interesting features with this sequel that you may want to know about. While you have the traditional Chess game available to play through, Chess 2 introduces asymmetric play, six armies to choose from, and new win conditions.

Chess 2: The Sequel comes with a free offline local game mode to play all you want with friends. However if you want to dive into the world of online Chess matches, you’ll be able to access that game mode by paying for it with the title’s in-game currency, Crowns. 120 Crowns will cost you $1.99. These online matches are ranked so you’ll be able to prove you’re the best at Chess if you want to.
