Well here is something you don’t hear about often when it comes to console and PC game franchises. Apparently Activision will be releasing their upcoming Tony Hawk game exclusively onto mobile devices only. This will be the first time for the franchise to go in an exclusive route with mobile, leaving behind consoles and PC gamers.
We’ve never gone exclusively in that direction yet so I’m excited because, with the amount of time people are spending on their phones and their tablets playing games, we’ve never had our own game in that space so I’m excited to provide one finally. – Tony Hawk
There isn’t a whole lot of details regarding this new game, besides the obvious fact that it will be related to skateboarding, but it is very interesting to see a franchise of this nature launching a title exclusively for mobile devices. As for when this will launch, no release date has been announced but more information will ‘be coming soon’.
