Space exploration game Out There travels its way onto Google Play finally

After quite some time in development and then a beta testing phase, not to mention a pre-orders phase, the space exploration game Out There is now available for everyone on Google Play. In this game you are an astronaut ho has awoken from a cryogenic sleep and are floating around in space.

You will be presented with destinations to try and get to by traveling from star to star. You’ll have to take note of your fuel, oxygen and haul structure as you travel as well as building new technology as you find it along the way. It is a rather unique and cool looking game (with FTL influences) and it can definitely be challenging if for no other reason than managing your ships fuel, oxygen and haul structure.

Out There Features:

• Google Game Services : 50 achievements, 1 leaderboard
• A dark and melancholic, hard sci-fi adventure
• Explore a freshly procedurally-generated galaxy every new game
• 300+ multiple choices handwritten game book adventures
• Epic main storyline with 3 different endings
• 8 spaceships with different specs to discover
• Crafting system with 20 alien technologies built from 15 materials
• Engage with alien life forms and learn their language
• No combat ! It’s you against the environment
• Eerie score by award-winning composer Siddartha Barnhoom
• Fantastic pulp comics graphics
• High replay value

This isn’t a short game, you won’t blow through it in 30 minutes or anything like that. In fact you probably won’t get too far until you’ve taken a few whacks at it. For those of you interested, Out There is available off of Google Play for $3.99.
