More details emerge regarding the upcoming Warhammer 40K game from Eutechnyx

Back in February 2014 we talked about a new Warhammer 40K game heading to Android from developers Eutechnyx called Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance. While the actual game was slated for release tomorrow (this has changed), future plans for this title have been announced and what we can expect is plenty of DLC goodies to be heading our way in the near future.

For those of you who missed our previous article about this game, Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance will be a lane-based strategy game similar in style of Plants vs Zombies, at least in how the game plays out. Of course units and the overall theme is based around the Warhammer 40K universe.

Some of this new DLC goodies will be available at the game’s launch which include new troop types players can purchase. Other DLC goodies are planned for release down the road to keep adding to the content of the game as well as bringing even more troop type to Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance. The new troop types available at launch will be the Ork Stormboy, The Dark Angel Dreadnought and The Deathwing Terminator unit. Also available at launch will be Ork Clan Skins allowing the discerning Ork Warboss to lead either the Bad Moons or Death Skulls clans.

As for when Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance will arrive, it sounds like the original release date of March 27th, 2014 (tomorrow) may have been changed. While the game could still be released onto Android tomorrow, if it doesn’t arrive on Google Play then it looks like it will be sometime in April instead. It’ll cost you $4.99 either way to pick this game up.
