As many of you know, Amazon a couple of days ago held a press conference and announced their new set top box called Fire TV. While there is plenty of news about this, there’s also a decent amount of gaming news regarding Fire TV. For starters, Gameloft has already begun optimizing their games for Amazon’s set top box.
While it isn’t a ton of titles optimized so far, it is the three main ones from their catalog. Asphalt 8: Airborne, Modern Combat 4, and Despicable Me: Minion Rush are all optimized for Amazon’s Fire TV. Gameloft will be optimizing more titles for it as well in the near future.
With Amazon’s broad consumer base and quality reputation in the market, it made sense to optimize some of our top games for Fire TV.
