Bulkypix to bring their vertical shmup Heli Hell to Android soon

Bulkypix has announced that they will be bringing their newly released (onto iOS) vertical shmup to Android in the near future. For those of you not familiar with the term “shmup”, it just means shoot-em-up which is basically an arcade shooter, in this case one that scrolls vertically and not horizontally.

Players will control an upgrade-able helicopter which you will use to shoot every enemy in sight. Upgrades range from better defense items to a variety of weaponry to use on said enemies. While the actual game doesn’t stray to far from the arcade shooter tried and true mechanics, it does feature a rather nifty one-finger style of gameplay. Essentially you should be able to do everything in this game using one finger.

Visually the game features a retro style to it but also with an isometric 3D style as well. Sort of what you would see in a shooter from the late 90’s. As for when this game will arrive onto Android, right now Bulkypix are just mentioning that it will be coming soon.
