While not specifically a game per se, Transformers: Age of Extinction is an app with game elements that ties in with the upcoming movie of the same name. The app features a bevy of features, all of which involve promoting the movie, obviously. Character Bios, trailers, a photo gallery, and a look at all the new Transformers toys themselves are all a part of the app.
While using the app, you complete missions by exploring the app presumably. This lets you collect “Energon points to help your side claim victory.” While the description of the app does not tell us much about what you can actually do, reviews and footage of the app indicate answer Transformers trivia questions and taking pictures with Transformers characters placed in them. So it is pretty safe to say that five star reviews for the app on Google Play claiming it is the best game ever must be accurate.
The app is available right now for free, and the movie releases in theaters this Friday.
