Soul Guardians: Age of Midgard combines the action RPG genre with card collecting based gameplay. You along with other Soul Guardians fight the “Demon Arrmy” to protect the land of Midgard.Both single player dungeons and PvP arenas are present along with co-op.
The game has 2D visuals and features an online leaderboard. One of its main gameplay elements is its use of “Sould Arts” cards which are collected and fused together in order to make up more powerful attacks. There are multiple soul guardians to choose from to play as and each offer different kinds of attacks and allow for different ways to play the game.
Soul Guardians: Age of Midgard is available right now for free on Google Play, though unsurprisingly,it offers up in game micro-transactions.An adaption of a popular PC MMO in Asia, Soul Guardians has been changed around quite a bit in order to cater to a worldwide audience. While language differences can offer up bad translations if not localized properly, I do hope that it is faithful to the original for the player’s sake,it is always a shame when games are butchered in an effort to make the game something they feel will appeal to more people.
