New changes to the Google Play store include IAP price ranges and more developer details

Google has begun rolling out new changes to the Google Play store today that add some much needed information to current and future Google Play listings. Right now a listing for a game, as an example, currently tells us that it contains IAPs. Now Google has added more information to this particular detail in that we now get to see the range of pricing for the IAPs included in that particular game.

So if a game has a bunch of In-App purchases priced between $0.99 and $99.00, it will now show that on Google Play. However, while we do now get to see the range of prices that are the IAPs for any particular item that has IAPs, we don’t get to see what those IAPs actually are. That’s probably a good thing though as some games have a multitude of In-App purchases and this would make listings on Google Play pretty long.

This isn’t the only change to happen on the Google Play store though. Developers who have added their physical address to their profiles now have them publicly available to view. This information is available in the expanded details section of a listing on Google Play.

Right now both of these changes are only showing up on the Android Google Play app and is not yet visible on the web-based version of Google Play.
