Jagex is bringing a new Runescape game to Android called Chronicle: Runescape Legends

Jagex, the developers of the popular and long running MMORPG called Runescape, have announced a new game that will be coming to Android soon called Chronicle: Runescape Legends. Announced during the RuneFest over the weekend, Chronicle: Runescape Legends is a new CCG title that will take place within the Runescape universe.

The concept behind this game sounds pretty interesting actually, even though there are a ton of CCG titles already available for Android. The game will be played out within the pages of a living book which focuses on quest building, allowing players to craft their own miniature RPGs against enemies, including classic RuneScape boss monsters, before entering into PvP combat.

We’ve been quietly developing Chronicle: RuneScape Legends since the start of the year to ensure that it’s not only a fun and compelling player experience, but one still very much interwoven into the rich lore of RuneScape. We’re looking forward to sharing more information on the game over the coming months, especially in regards to Chronicle‘s debut on tablet and mobile! – James Sweatman, lead designer

There isn’t a whole lot more detail released about this game right now but as we get closer to its release date, we will be sure to post updates on any further information released. As for when Chronicle: Runescape Legends will land on Android, all we know is that it will arrive sometime in 2015 on PC, Mac, Tablets and mobile phones.
