[Updated] Chillingo will finally be bringing Pixel People to Android on October 21st

A rather popular game on iOS is a game called Pixel People, published by Chillingo. It was released over a year ago for iOS and has been planned for an Android release since then. Now that is finally going to happen this month.

Update October 21st, 2014 7:18am PST: Pixel People has now been published onto Google Play. You can pick up this game from Chillingo for free through the newly added link below.

For those of you not familiar with what Pixel People is, this game is essentially a city building title but with genetics involved. You can clone and splice people in order to make new ones to populate your pixel town. There also happens to be a bunch of mini-games, secrets to uncover and other goodies. There also happens to be Android related content in it such as being able to build a Google ‘Tech Park’.

Pixel People Features:

  • Over 280 Pixel People waiting to be cloned – happy splicing!
  • Over 100 buildings, animals, and more now available from the beginning
  • Secret bonuses, minigames, and easter eggs crammed into every pixel
  • Facebook Connectivity – play, visit, and share with other mayors
  • Build a Google “Tech Park” in your Utopia available exclusively to Android players

When Pixel People is released onto Android, it will be available for free and will include IAPs since that is Chillingo’s main business model when publishing games. When it does launch, we will be sure to post an update.
