Nexon M releases their second title this week called Legion of Heroes

Nexon M, otherwise known as Nexon Mobile, have released a second game this week called Legion of Heroes. We originally reported on this game coming to Android back in July of this year and since then Legion of Heroes has been under the final stages of development and testing until today. This is much different than their release yesterday of Base Busters, mainly because this game is an MMORPG.

If you happened to have missed our previous article on Legion of Heroes, here is a quick explanation of this game. Essentially this is Nexon’s newest PC-quality release for Android which features over 100 dungeons (not including outside areas) for you to go exploring in, hopefully finding some good loot instead of getting killed.

Legion of Heroes is a high-fantasy epic tale where the Sovereign of Darkness, Lideran is scheming to sink the world into chaos. Players will adventure across an expansive open world with a diversity of areas and terrains as they construct a team of heroes to do battle against an ancient evil bent on world domination. Players can team up with friends to create powerful guilds, level up their skills through battle, and earn enhanced weapons, magic, and armor, to add to the depth of the first-of-its-kind mobile game experience in Legion of Heroes. – Nexon M

This particular MMORPG has players not only developing their main character but also an army as well. In terms of standard MMORPG features, Legion of Heroes has most of the features you would expect from a PC style of game including guild and guild PvP (which are big in size: up to 45vs45), the ability to group up with friends and guild mates when exploring and taking on bosses, and the ability to develop your heroes through skills unique to each one.

However unlike most MMORPGs, Legion of Heroes has a tactical style of combat. This means it is a turn-based type of fighting, not that this is a bad thing of course. Overall there are over 100 different heroes to collect as well in a sort of TCG type of mechanic. Basically Legion of Heroes has a lot of genres meshed into it.

Like most games of this nature, Legion of Heroes is available off of Google Play for free. It also contains optional IAPs should you want to take advantage of them.
