Star Wars: Galactic Defense, a new tower defense game from Disney Interactive and developer DeNA, is heading to Android later this year. Featuring characters from both the original and prequel trilogy, Star Wars: Galactic Defense features all the strategic and management elements of a tower defense game but with Star Wars environments and characters.

Famous Jedi and Sith, along with a bounty hunter who always sells a lot of action figures, can be used. Players will be able to unlock Darth Maul by gathering in-game credits. It is assumed the game will be free-to-play, which almost certainly will bring with it micro-transactions.
