PSone games Run on Android Wear Thanks to a Hacker

A hacker was able to run the PlayStation game Croc on an Android Wear device, specifically the LG G Watch. Emulators running on an Android Wear watch is always a fun idea.

This is not the first notable hack by YouTuber EpicLPer, this is the same guy who was able to run Windows 95 on a smart watch through an emulator. This time around, the emulator thought to be used is the ePSXe PlayStation emulator, but modified for the tiny screen and other changes Android Wear devices present. A Moga controller should work with this emulator, according to the description on the YouTube video, because of Moga’s support for Android Wear.

While this is pretty cool, I don’t see smart watches becoming the preferred way to emulate games. At least not anytime soon. There are some cool ways to emulate PS1 games out there on Android, leave a comment and let me know if and what emulators you have dabbled with on Android.
