Earthcore: Shattered Elements closed beta sign-ups are now live

Earthcore: Shattered Elements is an upcoming collectible card game that will be heading to Android in the near future. However, in the meantime, for those of you who enjoy beta testing games, the closed beta sign-ups for Earthcore have now gone live.

Earthcore: Shattered Elements, according to the developers, is supposed to bring a whole new type of gameplay to this sort of genre of games. One of the new mechanics that is going to be introduced is Card Crafting which is pretty much as it sounds, the ability to fuse card abilities together to create brand new, more powerful cards in order to improve upon your tactical goals and in-game strategy. Apparently there is over 500,000 different card combinations that will be available to try and find.

Duels in Earthcore will apparently be more in-depth as well as players will have to use the skill-based Elemental battle system in which players will be fighting duels while commanding armies that are aligned with the three Elements of the game – Fire, Water and Earth. On top of that, each card has a Risk Factor to it. What this basically means is that the more powerful a card is, if it gets defeated it has a higher risk that it will deduct more points from the owner’s life points.

Earthcore will feature both a single-player mode where you can play through the game’s storyline and a multiplayer mode where you will be fighting against other players. In multiplayer there is also the option to compete in different leagues and championships.

While there is no exact release date announced for Earthcore: Shattered Elements, the closed beta sign-ups are now available for those of you who are interested.
