In an interesting turn of events, Sony via their Developer Blog, announced today, that their latest title would be making its way to PS Vita and mobile devices. Fortunately for us, that includes Android devices. The title that is to be released in October is Run Sackboy! Run! It is a platform-survival game that will be Free-to-Play.

If you enjoy playing Little Big Planet, here is the next best thing for your Android devices. Run Sackboy! Run, is now available to download in the Google Play Store. The game is free to download. Run Sackboy! Run! follows in the design style of Little Big Planet in that the images are handcrafted. The game world bursts with color and the characters created are quite unique.
The Negativitron (that big nasty vacuum cleaner who sucks up all the creativity) is back, wreaking havoc on Craftworld and nipping at the heels of our very own Sackboy! Using simple tap and swipe gestures, you’ll speed through three iconic worlds from the Little Big Planet Series – The Gardens, The Canyons, and Avalonia – evading danger for as long as you can. It is really exciting to see games being developed by Sony for different mobile devices. A game like Little Big Planet or in this case, Run Sackboy! Run! is a title that will immediately be accessible to a lot of gamers in the Android community.
Since Sony says the game will arrive in October, we don’t have long to wait before it is playable on our devices. Once we hear more for Sony, we will let you know.
