[UPDATE] More details released about TellTale’s upcoming Game of Thrones release

TellTale Games have been very hush hush about their upcoming release based off of the Game Of Thrones franchise. Well today the company has finally released details as to what we can expect to be doing inside the upcoming Game of Thrones title. For those of you who have been guessing as to when this game takes place, it picks up after the end of Season 3 HBO TV series and just before the beginning of Season 5.

[UPDATE] December 10th, 12:43 AM PST: Your wait is finally over! Telltale Games latest project, Game of Thrones, is now available to download in the Google Play Store. The game costs $4.99 to download. The description in the Play Store recommends the hardware for playing the game, so be cautious when downloading. If you have an older device, it may be important to try the game out, and keep in mind, the available window for refunds. If you are a fan of the TV series Game of Thrones, and have been waiting to play this game, the link to download it is available after the article.

The game will be exploring House Forrester who, if you’ve been following the series on TV, are a noble house from the Wolfswood, north of Westeros, and have always been loyal to the Starks.Interestingly enough, players will be working their way through the story from five different points of view. Each of these viewpoints will either be from a family member of House Forrester or a person in service to the house. Each of these characters will be trying to prevent the destruction of House Forrester during the War of the Five Kings.

While this game will currently feature House Forrester, players will have interaction with some of the series’ main characters which are even acted out by the actual cast. This includes Tyrion Lannister performed by Peter Dinklage, Cersei Lannister performed by Lena Headey, Margaery Tyrell performed by Natalie Dormer, and Ramsay Snow performed by Iwan Rheon. Additional cast members and their characters will be appearing in later episodes.

There will be a total of six episodes, or at least so far six are planned, with the first one being Iron From Ice which is slated for release next month on almost all platforms… except Android. Us Android gamers will have to wait a little longer for the game to hit Google Play.
