GRID Tuesday Races Onto Your Shield

This week the Nvidia GRID was given two racing games, F1 2010 and DiRT: Showdown. They are availble for free to stream to anyone with a Nvidia Shield Portable or Shield Tablet.

F1 2010 is a Formula One racing game. It was pretty well received upon its release, and features online racing along with the single player career mode. In a career you race through multiple seasons, the amount of which is determined by your choice. It won the title of best sports game at the BAFTA Video Game Awards (no not the old Spike ones).

DiRT: Showdown had less favorable reviews, it features many different modes, in four different categories, Racing, Demolition, Hoonigan, and Party. Racing has standard races, while  Demolition calls for the destruction of cars and anything around them. Hoonigan has players racing through obstacle courses and performing tricks. Lastly Party is the game’s multiplayer. Both of these games are streamable for free, and will remain that way until next June.
