WWE Immortals is the latest challenger in Android to enter the squared circle

WWE Immortals is a new game from Warner Brothers. Created by NetherRealm Studios, the makers of Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat, Immortals is a fighting game that uses touch-base controls and features 3 on 3 combat both online and offline.

The story of the game apparently revolves around a mysterious dark lantern which, unbeknownst to those who activate it, opens up portals to parallel universes where the stars of WWE happen to have other, more mystical, occupations such as knights, Mages, and super heroes, all of whom go toe-to-toe with their special attacks and unique special powers.

WWE Immortals Features:

– Controls designed specifically for touchscreens with swipe and taps
– Combos, special attacks, customized special powers and signature moves
– Full roster of WWE superstars as well as different variants of each
– Leveling system to build your move set, increase your powers, and upgrade your characters
– Compete in online multiplayer matches, earn rewards and even replay matches to learn your opponents

Players can also upgrade their characters with gear and support cards. John Cena, The Rock, Roman Reigns, The Bella Twins, Triple H, The Undertaker, and Hulk Hogan are just some of the combatants that appear in this game, all fully rendered in 3D. There’s also online play, in-game events tied to WWE pay-per-view events, and (unspecified) rewards as well.

WWE Immortals is currently available on Google Play for free and, of course, comes with IAPs should you want to go that route.
