[Update: Released] Gameloft will be bringing Puzzle Pets to Android this week

Gameloft will be releasing a bit more of a casual puzzle game later this week called Puzzle Pets. This particular game is a match-3 puzzler with ridiculously cute graphics and oddly shaped levels to add to the challenge of matching three or more of the same cute animal head in a row.

Update January 22nd, 2015 10:06am PST: Gameloft’s Puzzle Pets is now available for download off of Google Play through the link at the bottom. It is free and does contain optional IAPs.

Like a lot of match-3 puzzle games out there, players will have a variety of boosts and power-ups available to use in your goal to clear as many animal heads from the play area which actually sounds somewhat morbid. Aside from those power-ups, there are also animals that can be called upon to help you out in various ways and different hazards that will make matching animal heads more difficult. These animals that you can call upon can be ‘trained’ to become stronger each time they help you.

Puzzle Pets Features:

– Match up to 6 pets and create over 10 colorful combos
– Train and master these Helpers to clear the island of its threats
– Find your favorite strategy with 7 boosters
– Progress through 7 uniquely themed islands packed with enchanting scenery and 126 exciting levels

Puzzle Pets will be landing on Android on January 22nd, 2015 on Google Play and will be free to download when it does arrive. As you are probably guessing, there will also be IAPs available as well, albeit optional ones. You can check out the developer diary Gameloft published regarding Puzzle Pets in the video below.
