World Zombination is currently in development by Proletariat Inc. and is a very strange hybrid game in that it is labeled as an ‘MMO Tower Defense’ game. This may seem strange at first but the concept is actually kind of interesting. Players will have a choice to make, either finish destroying the world with hordes of zombies, or try helping the last remaining survivors defend against the undead hordes now roaming around.
Update: April 30th, 2015 8:04am PST: After a few delays and extra testing, the Android version of World Zombination is now finally available on Google Play. Downloading a copy of this game will cost you nothing, since it is free with optional IAPs. We have added the link to Google Play at the bottom of this article. In other words, there are two factions in this game, the zombies and the human survivors. Players can pick which side they want to be on and depending on that choice, you will either be helping the survivors defend the city against the undead, or you will be playing as the undead, sending hordes of zombies into the city to smash those defenses and, eventually, eat the survivors. The goal is to eventually control all of the cities and while a particular faction holds control of a city, they have a bonus as long as they continue to hold that city.

This isn’t located in just one city but numerous cities around the world. Those players who chose to be on the side of the zombies will be playing the game in a Tower Offense style. You will have a variety of different zombies at your disposal as you begin spawning hundreds of zombie drones and mutating them into powerful special zombies like sludge-spewing Spitters and Harbingers who explode on contact.
Those of you who choose to play as survivors will be playing the game more like a Tower Defense title. You will be strategically placing towers around your particular city. There are different types of towers you will be able to utilize such as the shotgun blasting Scattershot and chainsaw wielding Lumberjack. Your goal is to defend the citizens and key buildings, and mow down incoming zombies.
Both sides will need to manage their armies, collecting new units and upgrading currently existing ones. As you are probably guessing, this game is very PvP oriented. You will battle other players in head-to-head PvP, compete in large scale Faction Wars, and complete challenging Guild Raids. You will also be able to play through a deep campaign across the globe. The game shares a world map that has over 50 different cities, each one features limitless procedurally generated missions. So the game is different each time you go to the same city.
World Zombination is slated for release on iOS this February 19th, 2015 and the Android version will apparently be arriving shortly afterwards.
