Update #1- December 10th, 2014 12:26pm PST: Quick update, Highrise Heroes will actually be releasing in a few weeks. Noodlecake Studios has a different game for Android coming tomorrow.

Highrise Heroes builds on the Puzzle-RPG genre and offers up something a little different. Instead of a Match-3 game that you have to participate in during events in-game like combat, this game presents players with a board full of letters which players have to use to make words out of. Making words clears a path for your character named Seb to use in order to escape the Skyscraper he happens to be trapped in after an earthquake. To add to the challenge of this game, there are obstacles in your way that you will have to make a path around.

In total there is over 90 levels (and 60 additional challenges) to make your way through as you attempt to get Seb, and any friends you meet along the way, out of the Skyscraper you’re trapped in. Each of these characters you meet have special abilities which you will need to utilize if you plan to actually make it out alive. You don’t have all the time in the world either as your air supply can run out.

When Highrise Heroes is released onto Android this Thursday, December 11th, 2014, it will be available to download and play for free. While this is a free-to-play game, within the optional IAPs is the option to turn the game into a fully paid game, removing the free-to-play aspects of it such as the ads, IAPs, and extra lives. We will post an update when this game is live on Google Play.
