Dot Heroes: Woop Woop Ninja is now on Android

Created by Ariano Games, Dot Heroes: Woop Woop Ninja is a Floppy Birds clone, with an RPG twist. There isn’t much of a story to speak of, so I’ll describe the gameplay. Players control a little black dot that wears a red headband. At the start of the game, and each subsequent level (so far as I played), the dot flies/falls through the air, inky contrail and all, only moving upward when the screen is tapped.

For each set of black bars that a player navigates past, he or she will be awarded one shuriken to use. Once the player finishes their attempt at navigating the course, they will resume and additional phase of the level. Players will then watch their. Ninja attempt to throw said sure I can add a monster, that sits opposite the dot, across a chasm.  If the monster is slain, coins and other loot are awarded to the player and they will begin the next level. They will attempt the level again, should the monster survive if you sure can thrown by the player.

As far as I can tell, the levels are actually randomly generated, and really the progression of difficulty is in the monster. The more levels into the game a player goes, the more difficult the monster is to take down. The loot that is used at the end of the level is then spent on upgrades to the player’s weapons, thus increasing the accuracy of the shuriken, or compounding damage through critical hits, poison, and other effects. Players do not have direct control over how well or poorly the shuriken are thrown. The only direct control a player has is how far they will navigate the Flappy Birds portion of the game, and how many shuriken they will have to watch their dot throw at the end of the round.

This game is the first in a planned trilogy that is to be completed in the first half of this year. The game has a final leaderboard, but no Google Play Games integration. There is both a free version that is heavily laden with advertisements, as well as a paid version without ads for $1.99, both of which are available now.
