Babel Rising 3D is by no means a new game on Android. This game, developed by Mando Productions and published by AMA LTD, has been around since 2012 in all its forms, whether it be the free version, the paid version, or the ‘Sponsored’ version. Now it is available for the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition headset and because this is a virtual reality based device, there are a few tweaks to the game to make it a more virtual experience.
For those of you not familiar with this game, Babel Rising 3D has players taking on the role of God Almighty who has to stop the Babylonians from building the famous Babel tower, which was meant to bring them closer to the gods. The fact that these puny Babylonians think they can build a tower to reach the heavens is insulting and thus you get to unleash your wrath upon them. You will be able to use the four elements to summon things like lightening bolts and earthquakes to bring destruction and fear to the Babylonians in an attempt to stop the waves of builders from succeeding in building the Babel tower.
In order to offer a better experience playing Babel Rising 3D on the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition headset, AMA LTD and Mando Productions have adapted all of the game’s controls to the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition specifics. This also means that all menus have been remade as well. Since Babel Rising 3D is in immersive 3D, they have also added a 360° sky and specific sound and special effects when powers are triggered.
