While Star Wars: The Force Awakens crawls (no pun intended) closer, what’s a fan to do now that Rebels season 1 has ended? Well, if you have a compatible Android Device, a new game, Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions may scratch some of that Star Wars itch.
Based off of the popular Disney XD show, Star Wars Rebels: Recon Missions mixes different game concepts into one convenient mobile title. Part of the game is playing as multiple characters, Ezra Bridger in the initial free 4 levels, while another aspect of the game is maintaining a base. The levels themselves are action platforming.
As mentioned the first 4 levels are free, but in order to play the rest of the game (30 more levels with other Rebels characters) an in-app purchase is required. It seems to be in the vein of Telltale’s adventure games like The Walking Dead in that sense, that you get a taste for free but the full game costs money.
