[Updated: Released] 2K announces new WWE wrestling game will enter the ring this Spring

2K Games has just announced that they’re releasing a new WWE game, this spring. What makes this game different from the other WWE game by 2K is that the gameplay is that of actual wrestling (or as close as WWE gets), instead of a card based game.

Update: April 16th, 2015 2:14pm PST: WWE 2K is now available on Google Play for $0.99. You can grab a copy through the link at the bottom of this article.

According to 2K, this release will “feel like a natural compliment to the popular WWE video games now available on consoles everywhere“. The game is set to include classic legends such as Hulk Hogan and Sting, to more modern stars like Roman Reigns or Daniel Bryan. It also will have multiple kinds of matches, including a career mode and live multiplayer.

WWE 2K Features:

– Playable roster of many fan-favorite WWE Superstars, including John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Triple H, Undertaker, Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt
– Authentic WWE action, including three match types, full WWE Superstar ring entrances and comprehensive move sets
– Create-a-Superstar
– Career Mode
– Live Multiplayer Matches
– Unlockable Rewards

WWE 2K is set to ring in at $7.99, and will be made available on the Amazon Appstore initially. Hopefully 2K Games will also release a version on Google Play shortly thereafter.
